Alams Consultants initiated a full risk management health check of the client’s operations. The initial assessment identified key capability deficiencies when compared to international standards, although the complex was inline with national criteria. Due to the high profile of the clientele, Alams Consultants recommended upgrading to international benchmarks. A detailed pathway was composed consisting of short, medium and long-term solutions to achieve the desired end state.
The risk management health check also highlighted a lack of risk management mechanisms in the project framework. Alams Consultants produced a bespoke risk management strategy, complete with full suite of supporting documents to be embedded into the organization. Stakeholder engagement ensured staff members were informed and educated on the systems to be introduced and their roles and responsibilities within it.
